On Thursday, May 12, 2016, the Friends of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (“LVMPD”) Foundation hosted its 2nd annual Cops & Canvas fundraiser at Southern Highlands Golf Club. Citizens and businesses were invited to view and bid on original art created by LVMPD officers, retirees, and civilian employees. The Firm’s Las Vegas Managing Attorney and Member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of LVMPD Foundation, Robert A. Rabbat, Esq., was in attendance.
Cops & Canvas is an art showing and auction that highlights a new facet of the men and women of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and supports community safety. All proceeds of the event benefit the Friends of LVMPD Foundation, which utilizes those funds to support community outreach programs and supplement training and equipment needs of LVMPD.
